Associate Professor of the Criminal Law and Criminology Department, Faculty No. 1, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Candidate of Law Kseniia Yurtaieva conducted a binary lesson for second-year cadets of the Faculty № 4 on the subject "Criminal Law" on "Criminal Offenses against Public Safety". In conducting the lesson, the Deputy Chief of the Monitoring Sector of Shostka District Police Department of MDNP in Sumy Region Captain Police Yuliia Khodkova took part.
Police Captain Yuliia Khodkova has great professional experience in police, and she worked in investigative subdivisions for fifteen years, she occupied the position of the senior investigator of the Shostka Police Department of MDNP in Sumy region. She told the cadets about the peculiarities of qualification and investigation of criminal offenses against public safety, drew attention to the most common offenses in the investigative practice of police officers, spoke in detail about the difficulties that arise in the investigation of criminal cases. The cadets asked many questions about the investigation of various types of criminal offenses and the peculiarities of service in the police. Yuliia Khodkova answered all the questions in detail and cited her own experience of investigating criminal cases of various categories. The conversation turned out to be substantive and motivating, the cadets were able to improve their knowledge of qualification and investigation of criminal offenses by police officers.
