Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted an Olympiad in Meteorology, dedicated to the World Meteorologist’s Day. It was attended by cadets majoring in “Air Navigation”. The Olympiad was conducted by Inna Dieriabina, a lecturer of the subject.

World Meteorological Day was established by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and has been celebrated since 1961 to raise awareness among the general public in all countries of the world about the activities of national hydrometeorological services, as well as to deepen understanding of the importance of such work. WMO includes 191 countries, Ukraine in particular, which is represented by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

After summarizing the results, the winners were determined: 1^st place was taken by cadet Mykhailo Hordyman, 2^nd place – cadet Dmytro Sokolov, 3^rd place - cadet Maksym Tkachenko.
