Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Faculty № 6, Candidate of Philological Sciences Nataliia Kobylko participated in a master class "Storytelling as motivation for the educational process", organized by the Scientific and Methodological Center for Vocational Education in Zaporizhzhia region. The training was conducted on the GoogleClassroom platform and consisted of theoretical and practical parts. Trainer Yuliia Prokopenko showed the advantages of using the storytelling method in the educational process, the relationship between history and fact. Today, visual storytelling is considered a new language in the information age, so in this context, participants considered the possibilities of the service StoryboardThat.

The course lasted for a week and during it the students had to create their own educational material with the help of storytelling, using convenient tools. As a result, Nataliia Kobylko received a certificate of advanced training lasting 0.2 ECTS credits and mastered the following practical skills: organization of the educational process by the method of storytelling; designing the educational process using modern teaching methods; organization of pedagogical activity on a competency basis.
