A new dean was introduced to the staff of the faculty № 3 (units of preventive activity) of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Lieutenant Colonel of Police, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Oleksandr Morhunov has been appointed to this position. Until recently, the faculty was headed by Police Major Anatolii Kolotik, who will continue his service at the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kharkiv Region.
The event was attended by the Rector of the University, General of Police of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko, First Vice-Rector Dmytro Shvets, Vice-Rectors Serhii Bortnyk, Anatolii Klochko, heads and employees of the faculty departments, cadets. The rector thanked Anatolii Kolotik for his service and introduced the new dean of the faculty. Oleksandr Morhunov, working at the university, has established himself as a professional, responsible and balanced person. He received a law degree at the university, became a doctor of law, was directly involved in the implementation of the National Police reforms, has extensive experience working with American and Canadian colleagues, participated in various projects, knows the goals and objectives of the university and faculty. The new dean of the faculty promised to justify the high level of trust and make every effort to fulfill the urgent tasks.
After the introduction of the dean of the faculty, the heads of the university communicated with representatives of the structural units and cadets of the faculty.
