Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held the All-Ukraine Scientific and Practical Conference "Psychological and Pedagogical Problems of Professional Education and Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Personnel” in online mode with the application of the ZOOM platform. The conference was opened by the Rector of the University, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Police General of the 3-rd rank Valerii Sokurenko. The event was attended by Academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Oleksandr Bandurka, First Vice-Rector, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor, Honored Worker of Education, Police Colonel Dmytro Shvets, Vice-Rector, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Leonid Mohilevskyi.

Six sections had been working during the conference: "National patriotic education of Law Enforcement Personnel", "Psychological and pedagogical peculiarities of preparation of future police of various units", "Socio-psychological support of law enforcement in modern conditions", "Actual issues of the formation of a personality of a law enforcement officer", "Negative psycho-emotional state and its correction to law enforcement personnel", "Psychological and pedagogical training of law enforcement personnel for crime prevention in youth environment and domestic violence."

The conference was attended by the leading scholars of the university and representatives of higher education institutions with specific training conditions for the preparation of police - National Academy of Internal Affairs, Odessa State University of Internal Affairs, Lviv State University of Internal Affairs, Donetsk Law Institute (Kryvyi Rih city and Mariupol city), and other institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine, National University of Civil Defense of Ukraine, National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine named after Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, as well as scientific institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Justice and Armed Forces of Ukraine - State Research Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, National Scientific Center «Hon. Prof. M. S. Bokarius Forensic Science Institute», Research Center for Humanitarian Problems of Armed Forces of Ukraine, Center for Military and Strategic Studies. Representatives of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, National Pedagogical Dragomanov University, National Defence University named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi, Academy of the State Penitentiary Service, Lviv State University of Life Safety, Vinnytsia National Technical University, Vinnytsia Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi State Pedagogical University, Kherson State Maritime Academy also took part in the event.

More than 90 scientists and applicants for higher education from different cities of Ukraine presented their scientific achievements at the conference. Among them there are doctors and candidates of philosophical, legal, pedagogical, psychological sciences, candidates of sociological, philological, technical and military sciences.

According to the results of the conference, recommendations will be prepared and sent to institutions and organizations interested in the implementation of developments in practical activities.
