Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs graduated 57 attendees of the primary vocational training courses for police officers of the Institute of Postgraduate Education by profession – a police officer, specialization - pre-trial investigation bodies, qualification – an investigator, an interrogator.

After the solemn presentation of the University Flag, the audience observed a moment of silence in honor of patriotism, courage, loyalty, and heroism of those who gave their lives for the unity and independence of Ukraine, participating in the joint forces operation and laid flowers at the monument to law enforcement officers who died in the line of duties.

Rector of the University Valerii Sokurenko and Vice-Rector Serhii Bortnyk presented the students with certificates of successful completion of primary vocational training courses. Welcoming the graduates, the Rector of the University said: “You have gained knowledge and skills that will help you in your service. Do everything you can to make citizens feel safe and secure. Always be on the side of the law! Serve so that people will respect you and the Lord God will protect you!”.

Traditionally, the best scientific and pedagogical worker of the Institute of Postgraduate Education was awarded. Serhii Zakharchenko was awarded the pennant for his professionalism, scientific and creative approach to teaching, objectivity, and adherence to principles.

On behalf of the graduates, Vladyslav Skliarov thanked the university administration and staff for the knowledge and experience gained during their studies and assured them that they would serve with dignity in the ranks of the National Police of Ukraine, protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens.
