On April 16, as part of events to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Chornobyl accident, the departments of theory and history of state and law of faculty №1 and Ukrainian studies of faculty № 2 were organized and held the online round table between the departments.
The round table was attended by members of scientific and pedagogical teams of departments and cadets of 1-3 courses of these faculties. The scientific reports of the speakers during the event raised various issues directly related to the Chornobyl disaster and its tragic consequences for Ukraine, as well as environmental problems caused by the impact of anthropogenic factors and others. In particular, the speakers stressed the settlement of the legal status of liquidators of the Chornobyl accident within the framework of modern Ukrainian legislation, noted the devastating effects of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, modern wars for ecosystems, noted the peculiarities of liquidation at Fukushima-1 NPP, etc.
Among the most active participants of the round table were cadets of the faculty № 2 Oleh Bykov, Daryna Zavrichko, Taras Lytovchenko, Serhii Khara, Sofiia Kosenko, cadets of the faculty № 1 Olena Yelisieieva and Krystyna Koval.
