A series of Ukrainian WTF Taekwondo Championships among youth, cadets and juniors has started at the Lokomotyv Sports Palace in Kharkiv. Athletes from Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs also took part in the competition.

Stanislav Plisko, the 2nd-year cadet of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA, the police officer, was awarded a silver medal at the Ukrainian Youth Championship in the weight category up to 68 kg and became a member of the national youth team for the European Championship.
