Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted the final scientific and practical conference of the second round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the specialty "Theory and History of State and Law; history of political and legal doctrines; philosophy of law". The conference was opened by Valerii Sokurenko, Rector of the University, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine. He congratulated the participants of the conference (students and cadets) from the leading institutions of higher education in Ukraine and noted that scientific activity contributes to improving the quality of training and expanding the general and professional worldview. Valerii Sokurenko wished everyone fruitful and productive work.

The event was attended by Leonid Mohilevskyi, Chairman of the Branch Competition Commission, Vice-Rector of the University, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine and Volodymyr Chumak, Deputy Chairman of the Branch Competition Commission, Temporarily assuming the responsibilities of the Head of the Department of Scientific Work Organization, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor, and members of the Branch Competition Commission who represent higher education institutions of Ukraine (Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk). The reports made by the participants of the scientific event were published in the conference collection.
