The leadership and cadets of the Faculty № 2 (Criminal Police) of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs honored the memory of the heroes and laid flowers at the monument to the victims of the Chornobyl disaster, located in Youth Park of Kharkiv.

After the flower-laying ceremony, Dean of the Faculty № 2, Police Colonel Kostiantyn Harbuziuk, having many years of experience in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Ukraine and visiting the Chornobyl zone of Prypiat, told the cadets the details of this world tragedy. "We must never forget those who heroically overcame the terrible consequences of the reactor explosion, and only among Kharkiv residents - more than 20 thousand rescuers, law enforcement officers, firefighters, and others," said Kostiantyn Hennadiiovych.
