The Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Faculty №6 of KhNUIA together with the Department of Natural Sciences of NURE remotely held the VIII International Scientific and Practical Conference of Foreign Listeners and Students "Language in a Multicultural World: Development of International Education". Volodymyr Hrechenko, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines, co-chaired the conference. Nataliia Kobylko, Candidate of Philology, Senior Lecturer, joined the organizing committee.
The topics of the conference are diverse, revealing the creative potential of foreign students in such areas as engineering, economics, medicine, social law, and the humanities. The announced sections contribute to the formation of the culture of the foreign language, address issues of overcoming language barriers, as well as acquaint with the culture and history of the country they represent. The geography of the participants is really impressive: Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Morocco, Ecuador, Colombia, Turkey, Sudan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Egypt, Mongolia, China. Azerbaijani students of KhNUIA presented their reports under the scientific guidance of senior lecturer Nataliia Kobylko: Rovshan Tahizade "The Most Outstanding Museums of Azerbaijan", Vazifa Akhmedova "Azerbaijani Women's National Clothes", Zaur Hurbanov "Azerbaijani Cuisine", Ibrakhim Sadaiev "Novruz - the Most Important Holiday of the Azerbaijani People." According to the conference materials, a collection was published, participants received certificates and diplomas for the best reports.
