On the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the Victory over Nazism in the Second World War, there was a solemn ceremony of laying flowers on the territory of the National Memorial Complex "The Height of Marshal I. S. Koniev". Vice-Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel Serhii Bortnyk together with the representatives of state and local self-government authorities, veterans, and the public took part in the events.

People who were present honored by a minute of silence those who fought for the Motherland. The citizens of Kharkiv remember and appreciate the courage of the generation that won the victory in the most terrible war in the history of mankind.

At the end of the event, they were invited to the museum of the memorial complex.
