The third lecture of the mini-lectures series dedicated to the Day of Europe in Ukraine "Virtual Tour to Europe" took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The report on the topic "Sweden and the Swedish Police" was presented by Ove Pettersson, Adviser on Community Policing of EUAM Field Office Kharkiv.

During his report, the speaker acquainted the participants with the general characteristics of his country - Sweden and the peculiarities of the organization and implementation of police activities in the state. The speaker paid special attention to the training of future police officers, Swedish higher education institutions that train police officers, the conditions for admission to universities, and further professional activity. In addition, the speaker described the main types of crimes and familiarized the participants with the statistics.
