Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs is hosting the XXVIII Scientific and Practical Conference of Adjunct and Postgraduate Students "Actual Problems of Modern Science in Research of Young Scientists" and the XXVIII Scientific and Practical Conference of Cadets and Students "Modern Science and Law Enforcement". The conference was opened by the Rector of the University, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, and Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Valerii Sokurenko. In his speech, he noted the importance of the conference and the issues that will be considered during the scientific event for the further development of educational and scientific activities of higher education applicants.
The Rector stressed that the research work of students, cadets, postgraduate students, adjuncts, doctoral students is an integral part of the educational process in higher education institutions of Ukraine, including those with specific learning conditions, which is Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
The event was attended by First Vice-Rector, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine Dmytro Shvets, Vice-Rector, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Leonid Mohilevskyi, Head of the Department of Organization of Educational and Scientific Training, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Senior Researcher Davyd Simonovych, Acting Head of the Department of Scientific Work Organization of KhNUIA, Candidate of Legal Sciences Serhii Ablamskyi.
The cadets and adjuncts of the university made reports during the scientific event on topical issues: preventive activities at the stage of pre-trial investigation: problems and prospects of its implementation; use of special knowledge in the structure of tactical operations conducted during the investigation of murders; certain aspects of property damage in the current criminal procedure legislation of Ukraine; features of tools and means as elements of forensic characterization of murders committed in connection with the use of domestic violence; forensic molecular genetic examination, etc.
