For freshmen of the faculty № 3 (preventive activities) of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, employees of Explosives Service Unit of Main Department of National Police in Kharkiv region conducted a practical lesson.

Explosives technicians acquainted cadets with the types and features of explosive devices and explosive materials. Special attention of specialists was paid to the algorithm of actions in the explosive device detection, security measures in the detection and handling of such devices and materials. The effects of an explosion of a substance of different power were also demonstrated.
