Head of the Department of Legal Support of Economic Activity, Faculty № 6, KhNUIA, Doctor of Law, Professor Olha Hetmanets held a seminar "Academic Integrity" for lecturers of the same department and third-year students majoring in "Finance, Banking, and Insurance".

Olha Hetmanets drew the students' attention to the ethical values and principles of higher education of European countries approved by the Bucharest Declaration, their enshrinement in the legislation of Ukraine, and foreign experience in the introduction of academic integrity. The professor stressed the need to adhere to the core values of academic integrity - prevention of fraud, falsification, and plagiarism, support for academic standards, honesty, and diligence in research.

At the end of the seminar, students expressed their understanding of the "academic integrity" term, the main were "responsibility", "honesty" and "decency".
