The Department of Labor and Economic Law of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held a meeting of the scientific circle dedicated to the World Science Day for Peace and Development. The meeting was opened by the head of the department, Doctor of Law, Professor, Police Lieutenant Colonel Kostiantyn Melnyk.

Representatives of the department of recruiting and organization of career guidance held a career guidance meeting with future graduates of the municipal institution "Kharkiv Lyceum with enhanced military physical training Pravoohoronets" of Kharkiv Regional Council.

Andrii Topchii, a member of the School of Scientific Leadership, the 3rd year cadet of the Faculty № 1, took part in the international conference "Family, Class and Inequalities in Central and Eastern Europe" (Social Research Center of Vytautas Magnus University, Lithuania).

On the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language and within the Week of Ukrainian Language and Culture, a round table meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Ukrainian Studies of the Faculty № 2 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs "Language as the intellectual basis of the nation" was held.

The NATO Virtual Reality interactive project, supported by the NATO Information and Documentation Center in Ukraine, began on 1 November 2021. The quiz will run until November 15, 2021.

Ihor Titov, a specialist of the preparatory department of the faculty № 6, visited the secondary school № 139 in Kharkiv within career guidance work. The representative of the university talked to the management of the educational institution, high school students.

The public organization "Institute for Gender Programs" conducts a free online training course "Gender Equality and Combating Sexual Harassment in the Military Sphere" on the "Prometheus" training platform.

This year marks the 145th anniversary of the publication of Cesare Lombroso's book "Criminal Man", which became a programmatic one in the scientific work of the greatest Italian forensic psychiatrist and criminologist. In this regard, the department of social and humanitarian work for the groups of psychologists of the faculty No. 3 of 1–3 courses held museum lectures, accompanied by a wide range of illustrative materials in electronic form. 

Participants of the School of Scientific Leadership of Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, 2nd year cadets Krystyna Koval, Vladyslava Balera, Polina Suslova, Yulia Shelest and the Head of the School Vitalii Naida took part in the all-Ukrainian online event from the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine  "Night youth science - 2021". 

The Sumo Cup of Ukraine among adults took place in Melitopol, in which athletes from Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part. Dmytro Kotov (weight category up to 92 kg) and Kyrylo Krupskyi (weight category up to 77 kg) won silver medals in the individual competition. The team of Sumy region took the second team place.
