"Safari for Communities 2021": raising environmental awareness

Participant of the Scientific Leadership School, 1st year cadet, Faculty No. 1, KhNUIA, Maryna Haidenko completed the course "Safari for Communities 2021" project and became a safari ambassador.

During the training, the course participants discussed nature-oriented solutions in detail, design thinking, fundraising in social projects, "green" participation, as well as the stages of environmental projects implementation in Ukraine.

The event format was focused on involving active citizens in the search for nature-oriented solutions in response to the most acute environmental challenges of communities. Such solutions may include the creation of green roofs, rain gardens, hedges, flower meadows, as well as the active participation of the community in monitoring and informing the competent authorities about environmental offenses.
