Another webinar on “Human Trafficking Raising Awareness Session” from the EUAM Field Office Kharkiv was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Liviu Velicea, (Romania) Adviser/Trainer on Community Policing from EUAM FO Kharkiv was the main speaker of the event. The webinar was conducted in English with consecutive translation into Ukrainian.
The applicants for higher education, scientific, and teaching staff of KhNUIA, in particular Sumy Branch and Kremenchuk Flight College of KhNUIA, participated in the webinar.
During the webinar, the speaker informed about constituent elements and reasons for Human Trafficking and Smuggling of Migrants, similarities and key differences between these types of crime, outlined the basic terminology and current international legal documents on the above-mentioned topic.
In addition, the participants of the event were given specific examples and asked to identify the types of crimes.
The attendees asked questions and posted comments in chat during the event.
