
On the eve of the Christmas and New Year holidays, specialists of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held informational and educational hours with higher education students of the ERI №№ 1-5 of KhNUIA, dedicated to the honouring of Ukrainian customs and traditions, the history of Christmas celebration, creating a Christmas wreath and cooking traditional dishes.

During his holiday break, Bohdan Kovalchuk, a 2nd year cadet of the ERI No. 3, met with high school students of Karlivka Secondary School No. 4 in Poltava Oblast. He shared his own experience of the admission campaign, the requirements for applicants, and what to look for at the beginning of the academic year.

This was the topic of tactical and specialised training for higher education students of the ERI №3. The cadets practiced approaching and blocking a building, when the enemy uses enemy UAVs, camouflage methods, rules of radio communication, as well as the actions of assault teams during the detention of an armed criminal.

During the holiday vacation, cadet Roman Kononenko visited the supporting institution ‘Kalaidynets Lyceum’ of the Lubny City Council of the Lubny district of Poltava region, cadet Ivan Hannoshyn - Lyceum №12 named after S. Kovalchuk in Zhytomyr, cadet Yurii Korolkov - Berdychiv boarding school of sports profile.

The permanent and variable staff of the ERI No. 3, together with students of lyceums in Vinnytsia region, organised humanitarian aid for the units of the National Police of Ukraine ‘Predator’, ‘Tsunami’ and the unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine ‘173rd Battalion of the 120th Brigade’. Warm clothes and food were sent to our military.

With the participation of the head of the internship, associate professor of the Department of Administrative Activities of the ERI №3 Natalia Hridina, the head of the course Hryhorii Lysiak and the leading specialist of the practical training department of the Department of Educational Process Organisation Maryna Zvirianska, the 2nd year master's students who are doing an internship at the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia region were checked.

Representatives of the Department of Tactical and Specialised Training of the ERI No. 2, senior lecturer Valerii Shvets and leading specialist Oleksii Mikhno, introduced high school students of Agronomic Lyceum to the ways of providing first aid, demonstrated the means of stopping massive bleeding and taught them how to apply tourniquets to different types of limbs.

Maksym Kolienchenko, a 2nd year cadet of the ERI №3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, told high school students of Korop secondary school named after Taras Shevchenko about his experience of studying at the university and shared useful information on admission. Future graduates asked questions about the educational process, service conditions and social guarantees.

Oleksandr Pabat, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure of the ERI No. 3, held a career guidance meeting at Kherson General Secondary Education Institution and acquainted future graduates with the conditions of admission to the university, the specialties in which specialists are trained at KhNUIA, told about the work of preparatory courses, and living conditions in dormitories.

Students of the ERI No. 3 together with representatives of the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Pedagogy took an online course ‘Nonviolent Communication. The Language of Life’ (30 hours, 1 ECTS) at the V International School of World Educational Programmes “New Way”, organised by the Education and Research Centre of Communications of West Ukraine and the Netherlands Biasness Academy.
