The Scientific Society of students, cadets, trainees, postgraduates, adjuncts, doctoral students and young scientists of the University (Scientific Society) is a part of the system of public self-government of the University, namely, it is a voluntary association of students, cadets, trainees, postgraduates, students, postgraduates, doctoral students and young scientists, which ensures the protection of the rights and interests of persons studying or working at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, in particular on issues of scientific activity, support for knowledge-intensive ideas, innovation and knowledge exchange.
The Scientific Society aims to unite the scientific potential of the academic staff, students, cadets, trainees, postgraduates, associate students, doctoral students and young scientists of the University and aims to intensify scientific research, publish their results, expand scientific and creative contacts.
Scientific Society, in particular:
- Participates in the organization of scientific and practical conferences, seminars, round tables and other scientific events of various levels for student and scientific youth of KhNUIA, including in cooperation with other youth scientific organizations of other higher education institutions.
- Initiates and promotes the participation of students, cadets, trainees, postgraduates, associate students, doctoral students and young scientists in conducting scientific research, scientific conferences, seminars, round tables, competitions, contests and other scientific events.
- Organizes the work of students, cadets, trainees, postgraduates, associate professors, doctoral students and young scientists in scientific circles at the departments, in research laboratories and cycle commissions of the university. Represents the interests of students, cadets, trainees, postgraduates, associate students, doctoral students and young scientists before the University administration and other organizations on issues of scientific work and academic career development, etc.
- Cadets and students who are members of scientific clubs of the departments automatically acquire the status of members of the Scientific Society.
