Iryna Maisun, a lecturer at the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA took part in the webinar “Advancing Racial Justice and Equity Through Quality and Safety: 5 Key Drivers” from Harvard Medical School.

Speakers discussed pressing issues such as fundamental concepts of fairness and justice in health care, including the various types of bias and discrimination that are common in health care; a new framework for promoting racial fairness and justice in health using highly effective quality and safety practices; coverage of acts of systematic violation of the principles of non-discrimination and their solution as an integral part of health care practice.

The acquired knowledge will be used in the educational process.
