Jakub Kucharczyk (Republic of Poland), an expert on decentralization and project manager of the Poznań District Administration of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship, met with students of the Faculty № 6. The event was held within the framework of the Center for Ukrainian-Polish Development of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
During the lecture on "Crisis Management in Poznan" higher education students learned about the main aspects of the municipal police in a decentralized environment. Jakub Kucharczyk also shared the experience of the district administration of Poznan in combating the spread of coronavirus. He noted that Poland was one of the first European countries to introduce radical measures to combat coronavirus before the first cases of infection were recorded in the country. During this difficult period, Poles successfully motivated and demonstrated solidarity and self-organization in the fight against the coronavirus.
Mykola Pakhnin, Head of the Center for Ukraine-Polish Development, Professor of Criminal Law and Criminology, stressed, “Poland, our loyal friend, partner, and neighbor, shares its experience in many areas of Ukraine's adaptation to European Union standards, which is very important for us. The Poles are helping to avoid many mistakes on the difficult path to European integration, and today's visit of Yakub Kuharczyk to the University is a good confirmation of that."
