Iryna Panova, Head of the Department of Law Enforcement and Police Studies, Faculty № 6, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs (guarantor of the educational and professional program of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education "Law Enforcement") took part in a five-day online training on gender equality in policing from the Turkish National Police Academy, conducted in English.
The training included the following thematic blocks: the role of gender in public and political life; domestic violence and gender; terrorism, radicalization, and gender; gender and security; feminist approach, sex, and sex, gender; International Law on the Prevention of Violence against Women (VAW); gender approach to combating terrorism in policing and others.
As a result of the successful training, Iryna Panova received a certificate of participation.
The acquired knowledge will be used to promote a culture of gender equality in law enforcement and prevent discrimination at all levels.
