On the eve of the graduation ceremony, a university-wide evening check was held, during which the cadets were awarded certificates of completion of the School of Junior Commanders, letters of thanks for conscientious performance of official duties, active participation in sports, scientific and social life of the university. Amateur artists, members of the drummers division, the girls sword division, and participants in the parade received letters of thanks and commemorative signs. The awards were presented by the rector of the university Valerii Sokurenko.
