Leading librarian of the general library of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Nadiia Onistrat conducted classes with participants of the School of Scientific Leadership of the Faculty No. 1 on the topic "Scientist's brand: Google Scholar system, ORCID author identifier, KhNUIA repository".

The participants of the school observed the components of the scientist's brand and the most important points to pay attention to when creating the author's profile Google Scholar and ORCID. Nadiia Onistrat also paid attention to the main ways of filling the author's profiles and the peculiarities of working with the institutional repository of KhNUIA.

The class was held in the catalogue hall of the general library, equipped with computers, so its participants were able to directly implement the knowledge gained while working with their own profiles in Google Scholar and ORCID.

Vitalii Naida, the Head of the School of Scientific Leadership, thanked the staff of the general library for the event, noting the fundamental importance of using Google Scholar and ORCID profiles for higher education applicants engaged in scientific activities. This is an important step for the effective accounting of scientific publications and will be needed for further participation of cadets in scholarship programs, high-level international events, and in further scientific careers.
