Maksym Kushch, a member of the School of Scientific Leadership, a 1st-year cadet of the faculty № 1, successfully completed the module on “Trafficking in Human Beings” on the CEPOL educational platform, which is designed to raise awareness of police and lawyers around the world on current law enforcement issues.
The purpose of this module is to provide users with a broad understanding of the concept of trafficking in human beings, including its characteristics, approaches, and strategies used to combat this phenomenon at the level of the European Union.
During the training, the main problematic components of this type of crime were considered, namely: various forms and persons of victims of trafficking, the role of international cooperation and coordinated work of law enforcement agencies of various countries and international law enforcement organizations in the investigation process, as well as measures to prevent and combat such crimes.
