Lesia Ukrainka (Larysa Petrivna Kosach) was born on 25 February, 150 years ago. Without exaggeration, she is one of the most prominent figures in the history of Ukrainian culture, a mystical writer, intellectual, word-maker, fragile in body but surprisingly strong in spirit, a talented pianist, a marine painter kissed by God.
