Employees of territorial subdivisions of the Cyberpolice Department of the National Police of Ukraine (CD NPU) conducted classes for 4th year cadets of the Faculty 4 (Cyberpolice) of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
Binary classes for future cyberpolice were conducted by Deputy Dean for Educational and Methodological Work of the Faculty № 4 Police Major Yurii Onyschenko together with Senior Inspector on Special Assignments of the Department for Combating Cybercrime in Chernivtsi Region, police major Ruslana Marchuk and the senior inspector of department of counteraction to cybercrimes in the Mykolaiv Region of the same department, police captain Oleksandr Rozhko who now pass advanced training courses of employees of cyberpolice in the institute of postgraduate education of KhNUIA.
During the classes, they told the cadets about the latest trends in the field of combating cybercrime, about modern schemes of cyber fraud, about the methods of social engineering used by cybercriminals. Cyberpolice officers noted that they are waiting for graduates in their units to undergo internships, and after graduation - as future specialists in cybercrime units of the National Police of Ukraine.
