Mykola Holub, Associate Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement and Police Studies of the Faculty № 6, conducted a binary lecture on «Organization of the work of duty units of the National
Police of Ukraine» together with Maksym Petukhov and Kateryna Riznyk, Special Inspector of the Duty Service Department.
Maxim Petukhov spoke about the appointment, main tasks and functions of the patrol police, the organization of the daily service of the patrol, the duties and interaction with the territorial units of the
National Police.
Kateryna Riznyk acquainted students with the legal basis of the patrol police service, as well as the «Tsunami» ITP service, whose employees receive and register notifications of offenses and other events
around the clock with the help of an automated workstation of the «102» line operator. She drew the attention of educators to the importance of prompt response of the patrol police to cases of offenses,
appeals of citizens, setting tasks for patrol police squads, conducting briefings.
Students were also told about the requirements for duty officers.
The participation of practitioners of the Patrol Police Department increased the relevance of the topic of the lecture and made it more interesting, instructive and practical.
