Associate Professor of Sociology and Psychology, Candidate of Biological Sciences Olena Shakhova took part in the IV International Scientific Conference “Information and Innovation Technologies in the XXI Century” and made a report on “Innovations in Higher Education and Answer to the Challenges of the Modern World” (Innovations in higher education and response to the challenges of the modern world). The conference, which took place on the GoogleMeet platform, was organized by the Higher Technical School in Katowice (Poland).

In her report, Olena Shakhova analyzed the main modern world trends regarding the innovations in education, outlined innovative models of lecturing and educational technologies considered the main characteristics of a lecturer-innovator and noted obstacles to the implementation of innovations in education.

Lecturers of Ukrainian and European universities discussed the problems of implementing the latest learning technologies, rational and appropriate use of digital tools.

All participants of the conference emphasized the importance and timeliness of this scientific event, its scale, scientific and practical orientation. The discussion of topical issues of development and application of information and innovative technologies in various fields of science and technology, spheres of human life caused a great resonance.

As a result of the conference, the academic publishing house of the Polish university will publish collective monographs, which will have the ISBN of the Polish scientific publishing house and will be posted on the website of the “Higher Technical School in Katowice”.
