Sumy branch of KhNUIA held a binary seminar for applicants of the second (master's) level of higher education in specialty 081 “Law” by Nataliia Horobets, Professor of Law, and leading Legal Adviser of the Legal Department of the state enterprise “Sumy Roads” and an authorized person on issues of preventing and detection of corruption Maryna Shapoval.

On the eve of the seminar, the masters were given the task to draw up a draft contract for the current repair of the object, the customer of which is a public authority. The compiled project became the subject of consideration at the lesson. The participants talked about the essential and mandatory terms of the contract, discussed its clauses, the procedure for presenting the budget in the annexes, the conditions of public bidding through “ProZorro”.

Maryna Shapoval answered all the questions, gave an example of a draft contract, pointed out the inaccuracies made by the masters, and the importance of contractual relations in civil law.

Masters in a practical case practiced the skills of contracting and the basics of contractual techniques.
