Thanks to the cooperation with the school administration and the common desire to orient young people to choose a profession, the head of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Olena Lukyanykhina conducted career guidance work among 11th-grade students of Sumy Secondary School of levels I-III No. 27.

Olena Chernikhova, a lecturer at the Subdivision of Economics and Management, successfully studied at the Kyiv Logistics School on the preparatory course “Fundamentals of Logistics and Supply Chain Management”.

At the end of February the Open Men’s Volleyball Championship started in Poltava. The honor of Kremenchuk Flight College in the competition is defended by the team “Aviator”. The guys are opposed by seven teams from the region: “KhimAhroStep”, FST “Ukraina”, “Dyiavoly”, “Medyk”, “SDIUSSHOR-2”, “PPK”, “Hadiach”.

On March 2, 2021, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs will hold online the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs: 20 years as a national".

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held a career guidance online meeting of future applicants with the representatives of the University. The first Vice-Rector of the University Dmytro Shvets, Vice-Rectors Mykhailo Burdin and Anatolii Klochko, Assistant Rector Viktor Slysh, deans of the faculties, deputy executive secretary of the Admission Committee Maryna Davydova, heads of the departments of the University answered the questions of school representatives, lyceums, colleges of Poltava region as to the conditions and terms of admission to the University in 2021, prospects and peculiarities of education.

The representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in a meeting where "Guidelines for Employers in Gender Equality and Non-Discrimination" was presented. The document was prepared with the assistance of Kateryna Levchenko, the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy, and the Confederation of Employers of Ukraine together with the International Labor Organization.

The Department of Sociology and Psychology of the Faculty № 6, KhNUIA, held a round table "Transformation of models of gender-role relationships in modern society." The event was held in cooperation with student research groups of the Department of Sociology and Psychology, Faculty № 6 KhNUIA, and the Institute of Management, Psychology and Security of Lviv State University of Internal Affairs.

Associate Professor of Law of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Lesya Goncharenko and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Law Viktor Kiselyov conducted a practical lesson on criminology with students of the Sumy Territorial Branch of Malaya Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Lesya Ukrainka's birth, the Department of Ukrainian Studies of Faculty 2 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs conducted a number of thematic excursions within the Slobozhansk exposition.
