On October 14, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, as well as the feast of Protection of Holy Virgin and the Day of Ukrainian Cossacks. Under the slogan "Power of the Unconquered", Ukrainians celebrated Defender of Ukraine Day for the first time.

On this day, Ukrainians honor all defenders who, without sparing their own lives, fought for peace, freedom and independence of our state.

The library of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs has prepared an illustrated book exhibition "On the protection of a united Ukraine" for the holiday.
