140 police officers - representatives of the National Police from different regions of Ukraine arrived at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs to undertake training in specialization courses for community police officers assigned to police stations of territorial communities. The first Vice-Rector of the university, Police Colonel Dmytro Shvets, and the head of the department for interaction with communities of the Department of Preventive Activities of the NPU, Police Captain Maiia Breslavska, addressed the police with parting words.

On behalf of the Rector of the University, Police General of the Third Rank Valerii Sokurenko, Dmytro Shvets congratulated the students on the beginning of their studies and noted that the University is actively involved in the implementation of the Community Police Officer program. Three issues have already taken place, more than 400 specialists have been trained, who work in all parts of Ukraine: “We continue to work in this direction. I wish you success, patience, because the training program is very rich, so you will need to make every effort to learn new knowledge and skills.

In addition to general law disciplines, students will take a course to improve driving skills, provide home care, engage in tactical special and fire training, and more. The training process will involve experienced trainers, instructors who have extensive experience in various international peacekeeping missions. The university has all the conditions for study. "Focus on the learning process, be organized, adhere to discipline and quarantine requirements!", - said Dmytro Shvets.

Maiia Breslavska emphasized that everyone was carefully selected and made a lot of efforts to become participants in the project: “I am sure you will be able to prove that you are real and deserve people's trust. Support each other, share experiences, set an example with your work! I believe that each of you will show a high level of professionalism working in communities. Good luck to you! ”

After the solemn events for the students of the courses, the classes started according to the schedule.
