Competitions on anti-accident driving were held among police officers for the Rector's Cup of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The event was attended by five crews of the MDNP in Kharkiv region, four crews of the Patrol Police Department in Kharkiv region, two crews of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The organization of competitions and judging was provided by the employees of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty №3 KhNUIA and representatives of the driving school “M-sport”. The purpose of the competition is to develop skills in performing special driving techniques and to improve the skills of safe driving while performing official duties. According to the results of the competition, the winners were determined who showed the best results.

The first place was taken by the Inspector of Department of Tactical Support of a Battalion №1 Management of patrol police in Kharkiv region of DPP the Senior Lieutenant of Police Oleksandr Kovalevskyi with the result of 2 min. 16 sec., the Policeman of a platoon №3 companies № 1 SPR MDNP in the Kharkiv region the Senior Sergeant of Police Vladyslav Borovskyi, result 2 min. 19 sec. took the second place and the third place was taken by Ivan Ovchynnykov, a master's student of the Faculty №3 of KhNUIA, who showed the result of 2 min. 20 sec. The winners of the competition were awarded diplomas, the winner received a diploma and a Cup. The participants of the competition also received incentive prizes from the M-sport driving school.

The participants of the competition were greeted and awarded by the Vice-Rector of the University, Colonel Serhii Bortnyk, Head of the Vocational Training Department of the Personnel Department of the MDNP in Kharkiv Region, Colonel Serhii Panov, Advisor on Community Policing of the Regional Office of the EUAM in Kharkiv Mulazim Ozturk. The event was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty № 3 Lieutenant Colonel of Police Oleksandr Morhunov, Head of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training Major of Police Ihor Kovalov and others.
