Oleksandra Kochura, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Expertology, Faculty №6 of KhNUIA along with a lawyer Oleksandr Rozumovskyi conducted a binary lesson for students in the discipline “Criminal Procedure” on “Defender in Criminal Proceedings”.

During the class, the issues of defense counsel's participation in the pre-trial investigation, preparatory proceedings and trial in criminal proceedings were considered. In addition, Oleksandr Rozumovskyi shared his own professional experience related to individuals' appeals to the European Court of Human Rights. The information obtained allowed to expand the knowledge of higher education students about the activities of a lawyer as a defense counsel in criminal proceedings.

At the end of the lesson, Oleksandr Rozumovskyi answered numerous questions from students and wished them success in their studies and future professional activities.
