Every year, on November 9, Ukraine not only honors the memory of Reverend Nestor Litopysets, but also celebrates the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language. Millions of Ukrainians take up the pen and join in writing the All-Ukrainian dictation of national unity. It does not aim to test the literacy of a particular person, but is conceived as a kind of flash mob-action of unity around the native language (http://univd.edu.ua/en/news/11232).
