Providing assistance to pregnant women and newborns acquires a special meaning in wartime, when Ukrainians suffer numerous human losses from the enemy. Every new life is a treasure. At the initiative of the rector of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valery Sokurenko, medical equipment necessary for saving and saving the lives of children and mothers of the Kharkiv region was transferred to one of the reproductive health centers of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The humanitarian aid came from the German people through the organization Ruricher Hilfswerk-OST e.V with the personal assistance of Aleta Weber and Solomiya Rozhko. The transferred equipment is already in the departments of the center and the intensive care unit.

The medical equipment was delivered with the direct assistance of Oleksii Serdiuk, head of the research laboratory for psychological support of law enforcement, Iryna Shcherbakova, head of the public relations department, Mykola Pakhnin, head of the Center for Ukrainian-Polish Development, and Viktor Vasylenko, dean of the 5th faculty.
