Since Russia full-scale invasion to Ukraine, war-related sexual violence has become highly visible and widespread. There is a lot of talk about it, but people do not always realize the full complexity of this phenomenon, do not understand its impact on the lives of victims, and often do not know about the need for their gender-sensitive treatment. At the same time, international practice shows that over time, more and more victims will report sexual crimes and require specialized assistance. Therefore, Ukrainian society must be aware in order to consciously treat the victims and not harm them.
