At the meeting of KhNUIA School of Scientific Leadership assistant to the rector for gender issues, candidate of legal sciences, associate professor Oksana Tsukan gave a lecture on «How to counteract war-related sexual violence and provide assistance to victims».

During the lecture, students of higher education were acquainted with the concept of "war- related sexual violence", the algorithm of actions in such situation, the crimes evidence and its collecting, basic principles of communication with a person who suffered from war-related violence.

The topic aroused lively interest among the participants. They unanimously came to the conclusion to continue the scientific discussion at the 4th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Aviation, Industry, Society" planned by KhNUIA Kremenchug Flight College, precisely in the section "Equal rights and opportunities: history, modernity, development prospects".

KhNUIA International scientific achievements were on discussion during the second part of the lecture. Participants learn about the international projects and its results implemented at the university. Among them, Horizon2020 program projects «Europe’s Regional Partnership for Gender Equality in the Digital Age (EQUALS-EU)», «Interacting Network of Intelligence and Security practitioners with Industry and Academia actors (NOTIONES)», and Erasmus+ program on Jean Monnet Project topic «EU policy traffic light: gender, rights, migration and digitalization» (GeRiMiD)».https://univd.edu.ua/uk/news/15757
