The final conference of the project "European Regional Partnership for Gender Equality in the Digital Age" (EQUALS-EU) of the Horizon 2020 program took place in the city of Riga (Republic of Latvia). 

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, as a member of the International Consortium, in addition to membership duties, has special scientific tasks. Among them, the identification of systemic barriers that discriminate and put women at a disadvantage while having scientific careers and during decision-making. As well as promoting the further integration of the gender dimension into the local research environment.

During Conference, University representatives held amount of meetings and provided reports on timely and complete University's performance of all responsibilities assumed under the Grant Agreement regarding the implementation of the project

The University project members invite everyone to take part in a special session of the EQUALS-EU project on "Gender equality in science", on October 27, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., which will took place during the Ukrainian Association of European Studies Annual Congress on the topic "Development of democracy in Europe and Accession of Ukraine to the European Union".
