Government Commissioner for Gender Policy and the Office of the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration. The speakers were the co-director of Corporacion Humanas NGO (Bogota, Colombia) Luz Piedad Caicedo Delgado and lawyer, representative of Colombia Diversa NGO (Bogota, Colombia) Susana Peralta.

In their reports, the speakers defined the modern concept of preventing gender-based violence and sexual violence related to the conflict, focused in detail on the specifics of recording these types of crimes, preventing re-traumatization of victims, highlighted the role of public organizations in helping victims of violence. The reports also reflected the concept of reparations, the main provisions of the Rome Statute, the activities of the International Criminal Court on the prosecution of persons involved in gender-based violence and sexual violence related to conflict, challenges causing violations of social norms, etc. During the discussion, the webinar participants were interested in the Colombian experience of documenting sexual violence against men. It should be noted that last year 2023, Ukraine and Colombia were members of the Global Alliance for the Prevention of Sexual Violence in Wartime, thereby joining the global fight against this type of crime. Co-founder and Director of Strategic Development of the International Charitable Foundation "Ukrainian Women's Fund", Director of USAID Projects and moderator of the event Nataliia Karbovska, as well as Coordinator of USAID Projects Olena Panchenko noted the importance of taking into account the experience of other countries. They announced the possibility of future cooperation in a number of legislative aspects, as well as on issues of social support, training of specialists, medical assistance, and high-quality and full information of the parties involved in combating sexual violence during the war, etc.
