Police Colonel Ihor Ivanchyshyn passed away in hospital at the age of 47 after being wounded in the Russian shelling of Kharkiv. On November 1, 2024, as a result of a rocket strike on the city center, he received numerous shrapnel wounds and was hospitalized in serious condition with multiple injuries.
