Vice-Rector of KhNUIA Oleksandr MUZYCHUK and Director of the Educational and Research Institute No. 3 Hennadii ZVIRIANSKYI presented certificates to cadets of the specialty "Psychology" for successful completion of the certified European training "Psychological First Aid – Training of Trainers" (ToT, 40 hours, 17,5 ECTS).

The training is part of the cascade training of psychological assistance trainers in Ukraine, launched by a team of trainers of the Portuguese gendarmerie – mental health specialists. It is held under the patronage of the EU Advisory Mission within the framework of reforming the civilian security sector of Ukraine, and representatives of all higher education institutions of the MIA are involved in the training.

During the training, a specialized group of instructors came to KhNUIA to observe the sessions and provide mentoring support: Director of the Psychological Department of the National Guard of Portugal José Quintela CARDOSO and trainer of the EUAM Specialized Team in Ukraine Ana Isabel Carneiro GONÇALVES. José CARDOSO noted: "Only at your university, at the Educational and Research Institute No. 3, the training of trainers in psychology took place. This is an important step for the development of professional psychological assistance in Ukraine."https://univd.edu.ua/uk/news/25713
