Employees of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2 together with instructors of the brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine "Chervona Kalyna" conducted an intensive practical lesson on the organization of defensive combat for cadets of graduation courses.

During the training, the cadets practiced a set of measures to ensure the defense of the stronghold: division of responsibilities in the unit, consolidation of positions, marking of fire sectors, maintaining communication between positions and command. Attention was also paid to engineering and pre-medical training: creation of protective obstacles, organization of evacuation routes and interaction with the headquarters in case of emergency situations.

A separate unit was the deployment of a mobile command post and work with unmanned aviation systems. Cadets of the Scientific and Practical Center «Wings of the Law» practiced the tactics of using drones for surveillance, reconnaissance and accompaniment of small tactical groups.

In the tactical phase of training, the instructors simulated the enemy's offensive. Commanders of divisions and platoons practiced setting combat tasks, adjusting the actions of units, maneuvering reserves and coordinating fire. Special emphasis was placed on the interaction of observation teams, correctors and medics during the evacuation of the wounded.

The practice allowed the cadets to improve their commander's skills, gain new experience of interaction in the unit and increase their readiness to act in conditions of active hostilities.https://univd.edu.ua/uk/news/26010
