Representatives of the cadet and student self-government of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the training within the framework of the student self-government development workshop "aGAIN 3.0". This is not the first time that the project has been implemented at the university with the support of UNDP in Ukraine and with the financial assistance of the Government of Denmark.
The event was opened by the First Vice-Rector of the University Viktor Vasylenko and Vice-Rector Oleksandr Muzychuk. Addressing the participants, Viktor Vasylenko emphasized the practical importance of cadet and student self-government: "Self-government is not a formality, but a real tool with which young people can influence the life of the university, propose solutions and take responsibility for their implementation. The active position of cadets and students makes the university stronger and more modern."
The initiator of the involvement of KhNUIA in the program was the Head of the cadet and student self-government Mykola Sorochyshyn.
The training was attended by the Chairmen of the councils of the Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-5 and Sumy branch. During the work, the participants developed leadership skills, determined strategic areas of activity and developed practical tools aimed at improving the efficiency of self-government bodies.https://univd.edu.ua/uk/news/26195
