Vitalii Nosov, a representative of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Professor of the Department of Combating Cybercrime of the Educational and Research Institute No. 4 in Kyiv, took part as an expert in a pilot specialized training course on financial investigations,  dedicated to cryptocurrency circulation and anti-money laundering issues. The event was organised by the European Union Advisory Mission for Civilian Security Sector Reform in Ukraine for representatives of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine, the National Police and the State Bureau of Investigations.

The aim of the training was to build the sustainable capacity of Ukrainian law enforcement agencies in the field of financial investigations, in particular by improving their skills in analysing crypto assets using the practical experience of specialists from the Department of Cyber Police of the National Police and the application of specialised software. Particular attention was paid to the standardisation of the educational programme on combating illegal activities involving cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies, taking into account national characteristics and practical experience in conducting financial investigations. https://univd.edu.ua/uk/news/26451
