The Colloquium on Cross-border Crime: The 19-th Cross-border Crime Colloquium-Combating Cross-border Crime in the East- and West-Europe Borders, which took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs for two days, was finished. Closing the scientific event, the rector of the University, general of police of the 3rd rank Valerii Sokurenko noted that the University is actively engaged in scientific activities and participates in research on topical issues related, above all, to the protection of human rights and freedoms, combating crime, the prevention of offenses, etc. So the theme of the current 19th Colloquium was extremely interesting and relevant. Specialists of the University study the experience of foreign colleagues and are ready to share their own experiences. Valerii Vasylovych wished the participants of the Colloquium success and inspiration in the further activities and expressed his wish to continue cooperation, in order to make the modern world safer and more comfortable.

After receiving the certificates, the participants of the Colloquium were invited for the excursion around the University, to get acquainted to its educational base and logistics.
