The interuniversity online meeting of the International Law Scientific Circle was held with the participation of the representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - members of the Constitutional and International Law Scientific Circle under the direction of the Associate Professor Oleksandr Radchenko, as well as students and lecturers of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, the Head was a Lecturer Alona Shevchenko. The meeting was also attended by the Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law of KhNUIA Andrii Voitsikhovskyi and the Head of the Department of International Cooperation of KhNUIA Olena Ustymenko.

During the interesting discussion, the issues of reforming the UN Security Council, observance and implementation of sustainable development goals, the role of the Organization in the protection of the rights of certain categories of people in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as global problems of our time and ways to overcome them were considered.

Special guests were invited to participate in the meeting - representatives of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission, UN Volunteers Serhii Shtukarin, Dzhoana Blosner and Remo Hasman, as well as Civic ombudsman for the protection of voting rights of Civil Network "OPORA" in Kharkiv region Yurii Chumak.

The reports on the role of the UN in ensuring the global legal order, coordination of joint efforts in global counteraction to the challenges of our time were presented by cadets of the master's degree program of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - Anton Chernikov, Olena Nosova, Maksym Hadzan, Serhii Levenets and students of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University - Daryna Bykanova, Vladyslav Zadniprianyi, Anastasiia Chmykhalo, Tetiana Psota, Karyna Kolomoiets, Oleksandra Patsaliuk.
